Seaforth is surrounded by extensive water views as well as bushland that is a haven for hikers and mountain bike riders alike. Seaforth is in close proximity to beaches and a plethora of water sports. Being locals we love nothing more than going for swim or enjoying the water with our family and friends. One of the challenges of living so close to the water is keeping it clean from household waste and stormwater run-off.
Many residents have beautiful homes and gardens and it is important to remember that anything that is washed down the stormwater drain could end up in the waterways around us polluting the environment we all share. So what can you do? Please do not hose garden rubbish into the storm water drains, have your house gutters and drains cleaned out at least once a year of debris that could end up in the storm water. If you have problems with your sewer do not neglect it, call a Plumber Seaforth licenced plumbers to inspect the problem and prevent polluting the environment. We can also organise regular drain and gutter maintenance for you.

Tanya didn’t believe her sons at first when they ran into the family room, yelling about a water monster. They had a fascination with Pirates, so the fact there was a water monster living in their bathroom wasn’t a new story. At least, not until she realised they were both covered in water. She got up quickly and followed them to the bathroom. They stood just outside the door and pointed at the water pooling over the floor.
It was coming from under the sink, where the boys had probably been rummaging for the face paint she kept under there. Now there was water spraying everywhere. At least she already had a local Seaforth Plumber she could rely on. She looked up the number and called. She was advised to look for a small tap by the spray of water and to turn it off. She found it and the spray turned to a dribble. The Plumber was there that afternoon. The water had been cleared up but the damaged plumbing was still there. Tanya had emptied out the vanity for easier access.
The Plumber explained a flexible hose had burst, causing the sudden flood of water. It had probably just been bad luck that the boys had been in the cupboard at the same time. He replaced the hose and tidied up after himself. He then offered to check the hoses under her other sinks to ensure they were all in good condition. Tanya thanked him for the work, the help and the speedy response as he left.
